math is important because almost every job in the world requiers some calculations of different degrees. math is and type of skillful problem solving. it teaches people to use stratigic way to problem solve. it creates patience and different levels of thinking. math also has a very rich history. very bright philosophers and thinker contributed to the creation of mathematics tought in schools today.
